Meet Soundbench

01 · Add sound

Choose or drop multiple audio files. Each file becomes a track with its own waveform and controls.

02 · Arrange

Drag a waveform to move it. Drag either edge to trim. Click empty timeline space to move the playhead.

03 · Mix

Use volume, pan, mute and solo per track. Track settings also includes exact timing and fade controls.

04 · Render

Mix WAV renders the audible tracks locally using your browser's audio engine. Nothing is uploaded.

05 · Keep the project

Save project downloads a new self-contained Soundbench HTML with your audio and edits embedded inside it.

06 · Shortcuts

Space plays or pauses. Arrow keys seek. + and − zoom. Ctrl/⌘ S saves the project HTML.

Very large audio projects create very large HTML files. That is not a bug. It is physics rudely reminding us bytes have mass in the metaphorical sense.
